[The Things We Never Said]

It's about something real

The art (although not usually to my taste) fitted this style of story telling really well. I liked how the story was about something real and personal yet completely unpretentious, a rare feat on Newgrounds.
Given the professional quality of animations available on the internet these days at sites like motionographer, vimeo, dailymotion - it's nice to see someone utilise the 'punk' attitude of flash, the idea that anyone with determination can pick up a wacom, illegally download flash and make something that has an impact on other people. Also as someone who previously wasn't a fan of Against Me! I think the song fitted perfectly with the character design and the attitude of the flash as a whole.
Well fucking done!

[Pico Hand Springs]

One of the most entertaining of the day

Great animation, really fun concept and the music went well with Pico's nihilistic attitude. What was the White Stripes song? I've never heard it before but I recognised Jacks voice.

[A City in Blue]

It was great

Really enjoyed it, nice and short I don't want to waste my day watching a 10 minute epic, this was great. Well animated and synced with the music. And it made sense. It was blue, things were great, people were happy, music was playing, then someone dropped the red and ruined everything. Make more, perhaps branch out of flash, its just one small part of the animating world, you might suit stop motion collage or something like that.

All you new guys don't know shit about what Newgrounds stands for. I'll give you a hint, this is it! uncensored politically incorrect humour!

He HUMPS STUFF! its funny. The graphics are actually pretty good, its just that everyone has been brainwashed by all these new pretty FbF flash movies lasting about 15 minutes.
Fantastic flash movie, great idea, great style, great humour and I gave you an 8 for interactivity because I love the humpy mouse cursur at the end. MAKE MORE!

I have never seen anything this good on NG before, seriously it is the funniest and greatest story ever, there was nothing bad about it.

high tension, amazing art

The way the tension is drawn out in this movie is fantastic. Although a long running movie nearly 100% tweened and little action, I felt really drawn in and did not tire of or notice the length of this flash at any point. The characters are handled perfectly in this short, although we know little about them, their feelings are made very clear and actualy enable the viewer to care if they live or die. Brilliant animation showing that fast-paced frame by frame and complex stories arn't everything.

Now some people would say this isn't the funniest thing on NG, but the funniest things on NG would never make it to TV because theyd get boring and crude after a while, some people would say there wasn't enough sword slashing violence, but the best sword animes on NG have no stroyline and would never even get close to a television. BUT this, this could be on TV, painted background! performed and recorded music! brilliant animation, fantastic use of colours, fantastic comedy with out going over the top and nothing crude, violence with out an ocean of blood, have you ever had anything on tv? because you really should get something on there, so original and great, in my favourites list

pretty good

but we must all remember that although this is a good flash animation its also still traced (or rotoscoped), so not it wasn't as hard to do as other flash animations but still atleast you bothered to trace a long kung-fu scene nice work. But from scratch action looks better, lets never forget genryus blade

bloody amazing!

I loved the animation the way you put strain into "its" arm muscles, it really looked as if it was pulling, went perfect with the music, now i have 2 of your animations in my favourites list. I think you should consider making a long maybe 10 15 minute animation in the same style as dependancy/system interupted. I just love the style and it has a meaning behind it i reckon i could easily watch a 15 minute animation in this style with out getting bored

I hope you do sam ramis evil dead justice, looks like it cold be good although i would have liked it if you used the accual quote from the film "good? bad? I'm the guy with the gun!" that just rules.

Oh by the way its rumoured that sam rami wants to make evil dead 4 after spider-man 2

Thanks, as for the "Good Bad" quote, theres two lines, one for directors cut, and one for the USA theatrical cut,... i like both, so when im making army of darkness i will choose which quote im gonna use....oh, and i WILL do it justice...otherwise i wouldnt make it... and if Sam Raimi makes an evil dead 4, i will no doubt do my best to do that justice too...
